COLOUR
The natural hue/tinting of a diamond
A diamond's colour is graded from 'D' through to a 'Z'.
The closer to 'D' you get, the more colourless the stone and consequently the better the stone. This paradox arises due to tiny minerals and imperfections within a stone that have the effect of changing a stone's colour. The difference between the colours can be so slight when moving from one grade to another that only a professional can tell the difference.
Tivon Fine Jewellery only uses diamonds with a colour 'H' or better.
Please read on as we guide you through the finer aspects of understanding 'Clarity'.
