Provenance

Not all gems are created equal!

TIVON has high on its list of priorities the ethical side of our industry. We strive to establish the provenance of each gem we source for our jewellery. This is either achieved by going direct to source or dealing with gem dealers who provide assurances as to the ethical sourcing of the gems supplied & exactly from which geographical areas the gems are sourced.

An example of this is our Tanzanite. Tanzanite happens to be one of the the most ethically mined gemstones in the world. As it has only a single source and the vast majority of the finest grade gems - which is the only grade for us - comes from the Tanzanite One mine (www.tanzaniteone.com)

With regards to diamonds - Tivon Fine Jewellery have committed to abide by the Kimberley process and the official certification methods associated with it. Conflict diamonds compromise international peace and human security and hamper economic and social development in affected countries. All Tivon Fine Jewellery's diamonds have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolution. We hereby declare that our diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of our diamonds.

LETTER OF AUTHENTICATION - Each TIVON item of jewellery is accompanied by a Letter of Authentication which states that the item is in fact one of ours, that it has been supplied by an official stockist, the details of the specific item as well as the provenance of the main gemstone within that piece of jewellery.
